I was elected to the new West Northamptonshire Council in May 2021 and represent the Silverstone ward. 

Prior to this, I was a District Councillor for Silverstone for 16 years and a past Chairman of South Northants District Council, I  helped with issues including flooding, homelessness and housing as well as fighting unwanted planning.  As a Cabinet member, I was instrumental in introducing the scheme that sees us 7th in the country for recycling.  As Chairman of the board overseeing Towcester’s regeneration; the civic building, library, water meadows, shops, houses and car parks are fruits we have delivered.  Professionally I have 15 years management experience in transport, was a member of Silverstone Circuit’s management team and worked in Formula 1.

As a semi-retired consultant in the automotive, transport and motorsports industries and working from home, I have the time to commit to representing local residents.  My wife Angela and I have lived here for almost 40 years.  Our three sons were educated locally and our grandchildren were born in the Horton.
