We are looking for dedicated, public spirited people who care about representing local people’s views and looking after the interests of their local area. Becoming a Councillor is an extremely rewarding experience, it gives you the opportunity to help your community and be part of a dedicated team.

In May 2025, we have elections to West Northamptonshire Unitary Council and are now looking for candidates who would like to join our friendly Conservative team.

We will be holding a candidate information session at our West Northants Conservative Conference on Saturday 2nd May. You can find out how to book on to this, in the link below. You will be able to find out more information about what being a Councillor means and the role and responsibilities you have. There will be an opportunity for you to interact with current serving Councillors including Cabinet members, our MPs and our Leader and his Deputy, who will be happy to share their experiences and answer any questions you might have.
