I was first elected to the new West Northamptonshire Council in May 2021, to serve you as your Unitary Councillor for the Deanshanger ward. 

My home has been in Northants for 20 years, during which I have commuted as well as worked from home, so understand the importance of connectivity to the economy of our area – whether for travel to work or education, or for those of you who run a business and employ others locally.

I spent my working life in the railway industry, both in the UK and abroad, for clients of all sorts including London 2012. Naturally I have a passion for transport, and my other key interest is education, through teaching on a university degree course for mature students.

Although a newcomer to local government, with my experience in large and small companies, and always in a service industry, I hope you will trust me as we move forward together into our new West Northamptonshire Council.
