Unitary Councillor for Hackleton and Grange Park

I am one of your Unitary Councillors for the Hackleton and Grange Park ward and I was elected to represent you at the newly formed, West Northamptonshire Council, in May 2021. 

Prior to being elected as a Unitary Councillor, I served on South Northamptonshire Council and was a Cabinet member with responsibility for the Economy.  I delivered considerable efficiency savings and worked hard for our area for over 21 years.  

As a Computer Scientist with a background in the software and satellite communications industries, I know that business growth is fundamental to our way of life, but it has to be sustainable.  

I am aware of the need to retain the character and identity of your parishes by preventing inappropriate development.

I have participated in many community projects including keeping a rural library open, campaigning for a new Medical Centre, improving highway safety, securing grant funding, developing parish plans and establishing litter campaigns.
