This special event sees MasterChef critic and award-winning writer and editor William Sitwell inviting us into his family home, Weston Hall, for a very entertaining night of foodie chat and delicious wine and canapés.
William, who has edited Waitrose Food magazine for over a decade and has written several books, will talk to us about his career in the food world and present a talk: A Foodie History, 4000 years in 3000 seconds. In this witty journey through time you’ll meet some of the stars – and forgotten heroes – who over time have
shaped the way we eat.
William will also take questions and sign copies of his books, including his latest award-winning story ‘Eggs or Anarchy’, which tells the remarkable tale of how Food Minister Lord Woolton really fed Britain during the Second World War.
Join us at WESTON HALL on Friday, 6th October 2017, 7.30pm for 8.00pm start. Tickets are £40 and include a one hour seated talk from William, book signing, Wine and Canapés.
You can purchase your tickets online here or call 01604 859721 or [email protected] to book. Please note there are only 45 tickets available!
